What Makes the Difference:
- Permit applications are submitted and managed by us at no additional charge. These include, but are not limited to, highway entrance, soil and erosion, stormwater, building, well & septic, and dock.
- Most architectural needs can be handled in house at no additional charge - including exterior elevations, foundation plans, floor plans, roof plans, and construction details - offering significant savings versus using a traditional Architect.
- From the permitting process to obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy, we are qualified to manage the entire construction project. As a Class A Contractor and a Master licensee in electrical, plumbing, and heavy highway accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia, we pride ourselves in keeping up-to-date with state and local building code.
- Complete warranty package provided with every home, warranting all workmanship for a period of one-year post completion. All products are installed to manufacturer specifications ensuring manufacturer product warranties are valid.
Meet the Team:
David Milstead, Co-owner & President
David oversees the progress of each construction site and schedules material and subcontractors. He is talented at designing and drawing custom home plans for customers. Well-versed in local and state building code, he meets regularly with building code inspectors to gain understanding of ever changing code. He holds a Class A Contractors license, is a Master licensee in electrical, plumbing, and heavy highway, and is a Lifetime Director of the Shenandoah Valley Builder's Association - serving as President three years.
Judy Milstead - Co-Owner, Realtor, & Property Manager
Judy oversees sales and marketing of our properties and manages the rental inventory. She holds a certificate in interior design and is able to help customers stage properties to sell quickly. She has been a licensed real estate agent for over ten years and practices at Old Dominion Realty.
Sonya Weatherford - Director of Business Development
Sonya oversees the financial accounting, accounts payable, and all marketing functions. She also oversees all customer pricing and works closely with customers on home plans and change orders. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Virginia Tech and Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Virginia Tech.
